Our Statement of Faith

River of Life Christian Church focuses on being a community of believers striving to live out, reach out, and deepen our Christian faith. We want to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ while relying on God to give us what we need for each day.

• We believe the bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. It is the revelation of God’s truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.

• We believe in the Holy Trinity.  There is one God who exists in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

• We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ

• We believe God desires that none should be lost and all are worthy of salvation regardless of their past.

• We believe it is by God’s grace alone we receive salvation, not by works or deeds.

• We believe that Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son of God, atoned for our sin through his perfect life and sacrificial death.

• We believe that on the third day Jesus rose again, ascended to Heaven, sits at the right hand of God the Father, and is coming back again.
